Hubify Labs (“Hubify”, “we”, “us”) operates hubify.com and the related Scientific Discovery Platform. This policy describes what we collect, why, and how to reach us if you want it deleted.
1. What we collect
- Account data: email, GitHub username + avatar (when you sign in with GitHub), display name.
- Research artifacts you create: labs, experiments, papers, chat transcripts, knowledge notes, files.
- Usage telemetry: page views, feature usage, error reports (Sentry), aggregate analytics (Vercel Analytics).
- Compute metadata: RunPod pod IDs, GPU usage, cost attribution tied to your lab.
2. What we don’t collect
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not train public models on your private labs, papers, or chat history.
- We do not share research artifacts with third parties except the model providers you explicitly invoke (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, Perplexity) at the moment of a request.
3. Third-party processors
We use a short list of vendors under standard data-processing agreements:
- Convex — primary database + real-time sync.
- Vercel — web hosting and analytics.
- Resend — transactional email (magic link sign-in).
- RunPod — GPU compute for experiments you launch.
- Backblaze B2 — encrypted backups.
- Sentry — error reports.
- Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, Perplexity — AI model inference when you invoke those models.
4. Public vs. private
Labs default to private. If you mark a lab as public, its name, mission, papers you publish, and aggregate stats become visible at /labs and at the lab’s subdomain. Chat transcripts and draft artifacts remain private regardless.
5. Your rights
You can export or delete your data at any time by emailing houston@hubify.com. Account deletion removes all private artifacts within 30 days; public papers you’ve published remain available under the license they were published with, but attribution can be reassigned to “anonymous” on request.
